ch-ch-ch-changes..kind of.

So today consisted of going to Colonial Photo and Hobby with my dad. I looked for a new film camera and immersed myself in the photo section and wished I could be back in a dark room. Going there furthered my desire to take a b&w film class at Crealde this summer, I can't wait! After leaving Colonial Photo and Hobby empty handed me and my dad ventured over to this awful store called Wood Craft.. an entire store devoted to wood and carving tools, terrible.

My sister colored my hair once I got home, it's "light auburn" now instead of a darkish brown. I love it, but it's not super noticeable, unless I'm in a room with awesome lighting.. or outside.

So here are some before and after pictures of my hair. This is such a boring blog, sorry!! haha

Day one. 364 more to go.

If you're reading this blog hoping for excitement.. you might want to go somewhere else. My day to day life is pretty boring, honestly. Today I got my hair cut (from my mom, she's a stylist), eyebrows waxed, painted my nails, bought boxed hair dye and my poor car FINALLY got an oil change and wash. Me and my car were ready to take on the world and then I turned on the TV and watched The Bachelor for two hours, after making a terrible dinner for my dad and sister (hamburgers and burnt scalloped potatoes).

That was my entire day, now onward to my photo(s) of the day:

This was my breakfast: A raspberry Kringle. My dad received this as a late Christmas present from one of his co-workers, it was delish!

Apparently this huge danish came all the way from Chicago, even though the packaging says otherwise..interesting.

 

These are my dying sunflowers my boyfriend bought me for Christmas.

 

Probably the last good day for this fella.

This is the dye I bought today. 

Hopefully my hair will be that color tomorrow. I'll post a before and after shot of my cut and color, even though my cut doesn't look much different then it did originally.

New blog. New Year. 2011.

Since this will be photography based, I figured I should share past photos I've taken. I was really into b&w film photography my Senior year of high school, but since graduation (almost four years now) I've lost my passion for it. I want to gain that creativity back and start shooting again, which is what this blog is now here for!

I feel like I once had an eye for this kind of stuff and I've seemed to have lost it. This year I will be taking my shitty digital Samsung 4x zoom out to see if I can make art again! (And possibly invest in a new digital and film camera!)
